Honestly I really enjoy this class because I feel like it was a great transition course from highschool to college yet challenging and educative at the same time.Throughout this semester I learned many starting with how to cite in chicago style which was very interesting and useful since one of my other classes required me to do so.I also learn how to write a conference paper, this to me was very exciting because it is something we can continue to use even after the class ends and I like that we were able to take it step by step until we felt like we had a great piece of work. We learned how to look for good sources through the internet for example the school library and how to know when our sources are legit and educative. One major thing that I learned through this class was when writing any paper including a research question is important to be very specific, the more specific you’re with your paper and the more information to put in it the better your paper is,So when you are looking for a research question tried to find something you feel passionate about the topic and then start to ask questions until you find something that challenges you enough to write a paper around and after making sure that your question is as specific as possible. Something else we learned in class was the rhetorical triangle, this completely change my way or writing and reading because although I had probably in some way used it before it wasn’t until I learned it that it began to make sense to me. So when reading or writing is important to keep in mind the writer, the audience and the message that is trying to portray. To me this made writing so much easier because know when im writting i think about my audience:”Is this something the are interested in learning?” which make my paper more interesting when i know to who and what I am writing about. We also focus on creating way to portrayed through our paper that we are expecting in the subject without directly saying it, for example, creating your own term, including dates and using words like “I, who have….” which have helped me write more professional on my papers. This class have helped me so much, while my first language is spanish and my vocabulary expand every day, this class has helped me identify and put into use many strategies that help me write and express myself better even in my second language.I like that everything we learned were things we could actually used outside of the class and that we were giving enough freedom to express yourself  through writing without feeling like we had to follow a certain way of writing but instead using different surgeries in our own way to better the way we write and read other papers.
